Representatives of Israeli defense companies are denied access to an important European defence exhibition. This may be seem like a temporary incident, but it appears to be another demonstration of how little Europe has changed in 80 years: The same prejudices, the same cowardice, the same lack of a moral compass. 80 years ago it was Czechoslovakia that was thrown to the wolves. Now it's Israel, and to continue this allegory - Haven't we learned from history that feeding the wolves only makes them hungry for more? When is Europe going to wake up, and where is the Churchill who would support Israel in its struggle against the axis of evil, and stand up against the sanctioned violence against Jews in Europe? To safeguard the values of the free world, Europe needs to join forces with Israel in this struggle, and the defence industry is one of the main assets the free world has at its disposal. Let's hope that European leaders will quickly realize that, before it's too late.
