UK Adds to Iran Sanctions List, Drops 1 From Russia Restrictions

The U.K.'s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation dropped one name from its Russia sanctions regime in a July 6 notice, removing Lev Aronovich Khasis, former first deputy chairman of the executive board of PJSC Sberbank.

In a separate notice, OFSI added 13 entries to its Iran (Human Rights) sanctions regime. Eight of the additions are individuals and were sanctioned due to their positions as prison directors and government officials. The five listed entities are the Centre to Investigate Organised Crimes, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Cyber Defense Command, Ravin Academy, Supreme Council of Cyber Space and Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
