  • Quota Bulletin QB 25-215 2026 Cocoa Powder has been published on CBP.gov (here).
  • Quota Bulletin QB 25-222 2026 Mixes and Doughs has been published on CBP.gov (here).
  • CBP has extended the deadline for the 2025 ACE User Satisfaction Survey to 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Responses to the voluntary and anonymous survey will help CBP understand users’ satisfaction with ACE, and a high response rate will ensure more accurate representation across the trade community, it said (here).
  • CBP is troubleshooting an issue that's causing delays in email responses to the ACE Document Image System (DIS). Filers do not need to resubmit emails (here).
  • CBP has informed the Office of Management and Budget that it plans to continue information collection activities related to CBP Form 5125, Application for Withdrawal of Bonded Stores for Fishing Vessel and Certificate of Use, it said in a Federal Register notice. The form is used to request the permission of the CBP port director for the withdrawal and lading of bonded merchandise (especially alcoholic beverages) for use on board fishing vessels involved in international trade, the notice says. The applicant must certify on CBP Form 5125 that supplies on board were either consumed or that all unused quantities remain on board and are adequately secured for use on the next voyage (here).
  • Recent CBP news releases reported on various seizures of illegal drugs: an Aug. 29 interception of alleged methamphetamine worth more than $37 million from a cargo truck hauling aluminum burr at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge cargo facility in Laredo, Texas (here) and a Sept. 2 interception of alleged methamphetamine worth more than $13.23 million from a cargo truck hauling a commercial shipment of broccoli at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility in Pharr, Texas (here).
  • CBP recently seized over 4 million units of unauthorized e-cigarette products with an estimated retail value of over $86 million during a weeklong operation in collaboration with the FDA in Chicago. The unauthorized e-cigarettes originated from China and were bound for multiple destinations in the U.S. (here).
  • CBP seized about $38,000 worth of commercial kitchen equipment at the Area Port of Norfolk-Newport News on Aug. 25 after determining that the equipment had a counterfeit UL mark. CBP had initially conducted its inspection on July 30 on the shipment including a charcoal chicken grill and a charcoal kabob grill, a falafel fryer, a pizza oven, three shawarma 5-burner gas grills and a rotisserie chicken grill, all of which were shipped from Jordan to an address in a Chicago suburb (here).
