Amphenol CEO Adam Norwitt said CCS is “a premier and iconic business with a wide array of innovative fiber optics well as a broad [intellectual property] portfolio that is supported by the business’s robust research and development capabilities.” In February, CommScope completed the proposed sale of its outdoor wireless networks unit and distributed antenna systems business to Amphenol for $2.1 billion (see 2502030019).
