Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

During the 13th EU-China strategic dialogue in Brussels on July 2, Kallas told Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that Beijing should “put an end to its distortive practices, including its restrictions on rare earths exports, which pose significant risks to European companies and endanger the reliability of global supply chains” (see 2506200004). She also pointed to the “serious threat Chinese companies' support for Russia’s illegal war poses” to the EU, adding that China should “immediately cease all material support” for Russia’s military industrial complex.

The two officials also discussed tensions between Israel and Iran, and Kallas expressed “opposition to any unilateral attempts to alter the status quo” with Taiwan, “including by force or coercion.”
