UK Sanctions Russian Companies, Executives, Vessels
The U.K. on June 17 added four people, six entities and 20 shadow fleet ships to its Russia sanctions regime.

The individuals include Yuriy Karasev, owner of financial services company Metallurg and director of RNCO Banking Zone, and his son Igor Karasev. Also listed are Vladimir Pristoupa and Olech Tkacz, both of whom operate a network of companies, including electronics companies Telperien S.R.O., Bompietro Trading S.R.O. and Carovilli Traidng S.R.O. The listed entities are extractive company JSC Atlas, Metallurg, energy firm Orion Star Group, energy firm Rosneft Marine (UK), the Main Directorate of Deep-Sea Research of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and energy firm Valegro. The agency said Orion Star Group and Valegro are involved in crewing and managing Russian shadow fleet vessels.
