WTO Dispute Settlement Body Releases Nov. 25 Meeting Agenda
The World Trade Organization's published agenda for the Dispute Settlement Body's Nov. 25 meeting includes a request from the EU to suspend certain concessions to the U.S. due to its antidumping and countervailing duties on ripe olives from Spain.

The meeting also will feature U.S. status reports on the implementation of DSB recommendations on: antidumping measures on certain hot-rolled steel products from Japan; antidumping and countervailing measures on large residential washers from South Korea; certain methodologies and their application to antidumping proceedings involving China; and Section 110(5) of the U.S. Copyright Act. Status reports also are expected from Indonesia on measures related to the import of horticultural products, animals and animal products and from the EU on measures affecting the approval and marketing of biotech products.
The U.S. will make a statement regarding China's challenge to the U.S. marking requirements for goods from Hong Kong, and Indonesia will request a dispute settlement panel regarding the EU's antidumping duties on fatty acid from Indonesia.
The body will adopt the 2024 draft annual report of the DSB, and countries other than the U.S. will propose nominations for the Appellate Body.
