Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
One collection involves Form BIS-711, which provides information on the foreign importer receiving U.S. technology, describes how the technology will be used and “provides assurances” that the technology will not be used in violation of the Export Administration Regulations.
Another collection involves the government’s Competitive Enhancement Needs Assessment Survey Program, under which the BIS Office of Technology Evaluation surveys businesses to determine which “government competitive enhancement, procurement opportunity and business diversification programs would benefit their competitive position in the marketplace.”
The third collection involves Form BIS-4023P, which companies must submit to participate in the NATO International Competitive Bidding process under the NATO Security Investment Program. Those companies “must be certified as technically, financially, and professionally competent,” BIS said.
