State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Bahrain, Morocco
The State Department approved two potential military sales, to Bahrain and Morocco, worth about $2.5 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said this week.

The $2.2 billion sale to Bahrain includes “M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks” and related equipment. The principal contractors will be General Dynamics Land Systems, BAE Systems, Leonardo DRS, Honeywell Aerospace, RTX Corp. and Lockheed Martin.
The $260 million sale to Morocco includes Javelin missiles and related equipment, and the prime contractors will be the Javelin Joint Venture between Lockheed Martin and RTX Corp.
