UN, UK Amend, Correct Sanctions Entries
The U.N. Security Council and the U.K. recently amended the sanctions entry for one of Haiti’s “most influential gang leaders.” The move revised identifying information for Jimmy Cherizier, a former police officer who has committed “serious human rights abuses,” the Security Council said.

The U.K. also corrected two entries under its Iran sanctions regime. The listing for Samen Industries was erroneously removed Oct. 18 but was added back by the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation. The agency also amended the entry for Qods Aeronautics Industries, updating the way the address is provided in the listing.
