OFAC Updates Russia General Licenses
The Office of Foreign Assets Control this week updated three Russia-related general licenses and four frequently asked questions.

OFAC issued General License 28B, which replaced 28A (see 2210170067), to extend the license’s expiration date to 12:01 a.m. EST March 18. The license, which authorizes certain transactions with Russia-based Public Joint Stock Company Transkapitalbank, was scheduled to expire Jan. 18.
The agency also issued GLs 6C, which replaced 6B (see 2207140065), and 54A, which replaced 54 (see 2211180040). GL 6C authorizes certain transactions related to agricultural commodities and equipment, medicine and medical devices, and GL 54A authorizes certain transactions related to multinational telecommunication services companies VEON Ltd. or VEON Holdings B.V.
