State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Egypt, Netherlands, Australia
The State Department approved three potential military sales -- to Egypt, the Netherlands and Australia -- worth more than $3 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said May 26.

The agency approved a $2.6 billion sale to Egypt for “CH-47F Chinook Helicopters” and related equipment, DSCA said. The principal contractor will be Boeing Helicopter Company.
DSCA also approved a $117 million sale to the Netherlands for “AIM-9X Block II Missiles” and related equipment. Raytheon Missiles and Defense will be the principal contractor.
Australia will receive $385 million worth of “HIMARS Launchers” and related equipment. The principal contractors will be Lockheed Martin, Chelton and L3 Harris.
