Europol detailed each agency's role in the scheme. Europol's European Financial and Economic Crime Centre will facilitate the exchange of information and intelligence while providing operations support to a number of investigations targeting criminal assets, Europol said. Eurojust will provide legal aid and help exchange strategic and operational information. Frontex will enhance the scrutiny of individuals who are crossing the EU's external borders and who "fall under the scope of the sanctions," Europol said.
