UK Makes New Additions to Russia, Belarus Sanctions Regimes
The U.K. added 59 new entries to its Russia sanctions regime and six new entries under its Belarus sanctions regime in response to the countries' military invasion of Ukraine. The March 24 moves from the U.K. Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation add to the unprecedented amount of restrictions placed on the nations following the assault.

The new restrictions on Russia are for 33 individuals and 26 entities. Individuals include Herman Gref, CEO of Sberbank; Didier Casimiro, Rosneft first vice president; Galina Danilchenko, Russia-installed "mayor" of Melitopol in Ukraine; and Polina Kovaleva, stepdaughter of Russian Minister Sergey Lavrov. The newly listed entities include Alfa-Bank, Alrosa, Kronshtadt, Wagner Group, Gazprombank, Russian Railways, Russian Agricultural Bank and SMP Bank.
The new Belarus listings are for Bank Dabrabyt Joint Stock Co., CJSC Belbizneslizing, Industrial-Commercial Private Unitary Enterprise Minotor-Service, JSC Transviaexport Airlines, Belinvest-Engineering and OJSC KB Radar-Managing Co. Holding Radar System.
