State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE
The State Department approved three potential military sales to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates worth more than $4 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Feb. 3.

The sale to Jordan, worth $4.21 billion, is for “F-16 C/D Block 70 Aircraft” and related equipment. The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin.
The $23.7 million sale to Saudi Arabia is for “Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminals” and related equipment. The principal contractor will be selected through a “competitive contractual award process.”
The sale to the UAE, worth $65 million, is a Foreign Military Sales Order to provide “funds for blanket order requisitions” for various military parts and items. There are no principal contractors involved.
