The Canada government issued the following trade-related notices as of Oct. 12 (some may also be given separate headlines):

  • Expiry of Customs Notice 20-09, Changes in requesting an extension to the 90 day period to submit corrections. The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 20-32 which, advises that Customs Notice 20-09 will expire and will be no longer in effect as of November 11, 2020. Therefore, the period of 90 days for submitting corrections, following a CBSA trade compliance verification where errors were found, will no longer be automatically extended by 30 days when the final verification report is issued as of November 11, 2020. After this date requests can be sent by email to the CBSA or by mail. (here)
