- Release of non-commercial goods via the Single Window Initiative, Integrated Import Declaration. The Canada Border Services Agency on March 10 issued Customs Notice 20-07, which outlines its policy decision to allow non-commercial goods to be released using the Single Window Initiative (SWI), Integrated Import Declaration (IID) (release service option 911). The new policy will only apply to non-commercial importations that utilize a customs broker’s Business Number to obtain release.
