The association said representatives met with Zenji Nakazawa, acting aide to Pai on consumer issues. "ABA inquired about the status of the Petition,” said a filing in docket 02-278. "ABA also advised Mr. Nakazawa about the harmful impact that the provided number condition has had on the ability of financial institutions to make time-sensitive calls and texts pursuant to the exemptions.”
