The previous requirement allowed waivers for petitioners seeking no more than a $10,000 royalty distribution. The CRB said it's tightening the waiver requirement to comply with the Copyright Royalty Judges Program Technical Corrections Act. The waiver requirement change doesn’t require a public comment period because it qualifies as a technical amendment, the CRB said.
