Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
The e-Manifest: Trucks capability enables carriers to submit electronic truck manifests to CBP prior to a truck’s arrival at a U.S. land border crossing. Carriers are required to submit an e-Manifest one hour prior to arrival into the U.S. Carriers’ loads that qualify under the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program must submit their electronic declaration at least one half hour prior to their arrival at the U.S. border. The electronic filing of manifests offers the trade community increased efficiency by reducing processing time and offering online status tracking of trips. CBP Officers are also provided with consolidated information that will help them expedite legitimate trade while keeping U.S. borders secure.
